NAZARÉ starts at the top

Nazaré, SIC's most recent telenovela, produced by SP Televisão, premiered in prime time and led in absolute terms, with 29.9% share and 15.6% of average audience, which corresponds to around 1.5 million spectators who followed the first episode from the first to the last minute.

Not since the premiere of Coração d'Ouro, in September 2015, had SIC achieved such a high value in the audiences. It also registered the largest difference to the competition, which had not happened since 2013, with Nazaré having a 13.6 point advantage in relation to the telenovela broadcast at the same time, on the competing channel.

Nazaré is a telenovela with a strong Portuguese flavour, set in an area of great traditions, which tells the story of a daughter who does everything to save her mother's life and how a great fire can transform so many lives and an entire community. Written by Sandra Santos, Nazaré's cast includes Carolina Loureiro, José Mata, Afonso Pimentel, Ruy de Carvalho, Albano Jerónimo, Inês Castel-Branco, Custódia Gallego, Sandra Barata Belo, among many others.
