TANGLED LIVES wins Bronze Medal in Las Vegas

SIC and SP Televisão won the bronze medal with Tangled Lives in the telenovela category at the New York Festivals® International TV & Film Awards 2019 gala, which took place on 9 April, in Las Vegas.

For the fourth year running, the SIC telenovelas, produced by SP Televisão, have won awards at this festival, which includes projects from over 50 countries, once again reinforcing the international recognition of national fiction.

In 2016, Heart of Gold and Salty Sea won the gold and bronze medals, respectively. The following year, it was More Than Love's turn to win the bronze medal and, in 2018, it was Living Passion that brought the bronze medal to Portugal.

Still being broadcast on SIC, the telenovela written by Alexandre Castro, features Sara Matos, Joana Santos, Diogo Amaral and Renato Godinho in the main roles. A story full of action and suspense, which revolves around the world of sport, fashion and doping.

This is the 8th edition of the New York Festivals® International TV & Film Awards 2019, which honours and celebrates excellence in film and television production. An important recognition that places SIC's and SP Televisão fiction, once again, among the best in the World.
