LEADING ROLE – The new telenovela presented in a party atmosphere
LEADING ROLE, the new SIC’s telenovela, produced by SP Televisão, was presented last 8th September, to all the team that worked on that production: technicians, actors, scriptwriters, directors and producers.
The production will revolutionize the television offering, in terms of fiction, due to the differentiated offer it guarantees, in a transmedia model: a telenovela, a sitcom and a parallel fiction to be followed on the OPTO platform.
In the SP’ facilities, with a well-served dinner, in a popular festive atmosphere, where grilled sardines weren’t lacking, the main managers of SP Televisão also met with SIC's general director of entertainment, Daniel Oliveira, Daniel Cruzeiro, executive director, and Mónica Serrano, director of commercial content.
Before visioning some scenes from the new telenovela, which will be broadcast in SIC's prime time slot from 25 September, Pedro Lopes from SP Televisão, and Daniel Oliveira from SIC, affirmed their certainty of the success of this production.
“Success is made with the right people. People with talent, motivated and, more than saying names, the important is to realize that we've been a family for 16 years in our relationship with SIC. We believe a lot in this project, which is truly special”, said SP Televisão's General Director of Content.
Daniel Oliveira thanked the entire team that produced what he guaranteed would be a “thunderous success.”
“Sometimes the viewers don’t know why they like a product so much. I feel it’s because who produced this work gave their all at every moment. I know that even in the end of each working day, the team was willing to do another scene if necessary. That is the proof that we were fully committed whit this work. At SIC, with this trusty relationship we have with SP, we also want you to have fun. And what I feel in this project is that this has also happened in this work which, I'm sure is going to be a huge success," said SIC's General Director of Entertainment.
