Castelo Branco welcomes cast of the BROKEN PROMISE

The city of Castelo Branco was chosen as one of the sets for the recording of the soap opera BROKEN PROMISE, a SIC telenovela produced by SP Televisão. For a week, the city hosted the production team, actors and technicians, who used different emblematic locations in the region for the recordings, thus contributing to the tourism and cultural promotion of the municipality.

To celebrate this shootings, a cocktail party was organized on September 25 in the Noble Hall of the Paço Episcopal Garden Museum. The event was attended by various personalities, including some of the main actors from the soap opera, such as Joana Ribeiro, Joana Santos, Soraia Chaves, João Catarré and Victoria Guerra.
As well as the actors, the Mayor of Castelo Branco, Leopoldo Martins Rodrigues, and part of the soap opera's technical team were also present.

The event and the recordings reinforced the media interest surrounding the soap opera, thus contributing to Castelo Branco's visibility on the Portuguese tourist scene.

The partnership between the production company SP Televisão and the Castelo Branco City Council not only reiterated the beauty and historical heritage of Castelo Branco, but also brought the local public closer to the world of television, allowing direct interaction between the actors and industry professionals and the local population.
