LADY OF TIDES presented in Azores

The first event for Lady of Tides, SIC's new telenovela, produced by SP Televisão, took place yesterday, February 5, at Forte de São Sebastião, on Terceira Island.

Around 200 guests attended, including several official entities from the Azores, representatives from the Angra do Heroísmo Chamber of Commerce and the Angra do Heroísmo City Council, the General Director of Entertainment, Daniel Oliveira, the Director of Programs, Daniel Cruzeiro, the Director of Marketing, Mónica Serrano, representing SIC, Jorge Marecos and João Pedro Lopes, representing SP Televisão, various actors from the cast of the soap opera, especially Sofia Ribeiro, Afonso Pimentel, João Jesus and Júlia Palha, among others, as well as the Azorean press, had the opportunity to socialize and watch the first episode of the telenovela event, journalists from the national press were invited to visit the Azores, watch the recording sessions and take a tour of Terceira island to see the best places on the island, as well as some of the locations where the telenovela was recorded.

Lady of Tides tells the story of a woman who mysteriously appears on a beach on Terceira Island. She has run away from the mainland, from a violent husband. At the same time, in a nearby village, a pilgrimage is suddenly interrupted because a child has gone missing.

This child ends up being brought back by the mysterious woman from the beach. Many believe in a miracle.

The legend of the Lady of the Sea is born.
