SALTO DE FÉ premieres today on RTP

SALTO DE FÉ, the new comedy series produced by SP Televisão, premieres today at 9pm on RTP.

The story centers on the adventures and misadventures of an idealistic young priest who, due to his inability to lie, is sent to an isolated parish in the interior of the country. His Christian optimism and naivety will be tested by a community full of peculiarities.

The series was written by Gonçalo Pereira, José Pinto Carneiro, Susana Romana, Ana Casaca and Inês Gomes. It was directed by Jorge Queiroga and produced by Sara Moita.

The cast includes actors such as Diogo Valsassina, Heitor Lourenço, Luísa Cruz, Margarida Bento, Jorge Mourato, Pedro Giestas, António Machado and João Didelet, among others.

SALTO DE FÉ was shot in Castelo Novo, Fundão, where the SP Televisão team was warmly welcomed by the local community. Today, on the occasion of the premiere of the series, the Fundão Town Council is organizing a viewing, in the square of the Castelo Novo Church, for all the people who followed the filming over more than two months.

At this event, at the invitation of Fundão Town Hall, some of the cast will be present, namely António Machado, Pedro Giestas, Margarida Bento, Teresa Faria, Frederico Amaral, Jorge Mourato and Rafaela Covas.

SALTO DE FÉ premieres today, August 5, on RTP at 9pm and will be broadcast daily at the same time, promising moments of laughter throughout its 13 episodes.
