See the new looks of the A PROMESSA actors

With a degree in Arts, Nuxa Araújo, as she is known to everyone in the audiovisual industry, has vast experience in the area of characterization, in various fiction projects in television and cinema.

The creation of a lookbook for a television fiction project is done at the beginning of each project where Nuxa, SP Televisão's Characterization Manager, designs all the hair, make-up and manicures for each character.

"Once the lookbook has been created, we move on to the image pre-testing phase, where the most difficult jobs and the most radical changes are carried out. This phase lasts approximately two weeks and is where the actors discover the costumes they will be wearing throughout the project.
In the first week of pre-testing, everything is done in terms of haircuts and hair dyes, manicures, what kind of nails they're going to use, whether they're gel or simple manicures, and the color and shape of the nails.
In this project, some actresses had to get hair extensions, namely Ana Padrão and Paula Magalhães.
In the second week of pre-testing, once we have everything determined and done in terms of cuts and coloring, we will define hairstyles and make-up.
In this soap opera we have two very distinct sections, the section that comes from Trás-os-Montes: more rustic and clean in terms of make-up except for the character of actress Joana Ribeiro, who has more risky hairdos, with blonde highlights at the back, make-up and closet.

In this section, we opted for more natural cuts, colors and make-up to highlight the poorer side of the plot.

In contrast to this, we have the nucleus of the wealthier and more respected family, and here we had the challenge of building the look of the character of actress Ana Padrão, where we had to transform her into a ruthless, powerful woman, so we used hair extensions to give her hair volume and we opted for more elegant make-up in nude tones.

This soap opera has a much simpler concept, it's a simple soap opera in terms of work and make-up, it's not at all out of the ordinary.

With regard to the character of actor Ivo Lucas, I suggested the idea of playing with his character due to his profile and we dyed the top part of his hair, giving him the look of a market hawker. Ivo accepted the challenge and loved the end result.

This has been a very easy project to work on, as not all of them are like this. I think the biggest challenge of this soap opera is to keep the look simple, fresh and natural for some of the characters, without too much exuberance in the hair and make-up. "
