THE SECRET premieres in Brazil

The SIC telenovela, produced by SP Televisão, is now traveling to the other side of the Atlantic, with its premiere scheduled for October 21 on TV Brasil. THE SECRET, with 250 episodes, will replace the Turkish telenovela Um Milagre and will be broadcast from Monday to Saturday in prime time on Brazil's state channel.

THE SECRET, written by Sandra Santos, tells the story of three twin sisters, separated at birth by a ruthless villain. Actress Sara Matos takes on the challenging role of the three sisters, while the character who separates them is played by Brazilian actress Luana Piovani.

The main cast includes some of the biggest names in Portuguese fiction, including Sofia Alves (who plays the twins' mother), João Catarré, António Pedro Cerdeira, Maria João Pinho, Marcantónio Del Carlo, Mariana Pacheco and Cristóvão Campos.

For Sandra Santos, it's “a great pleasure and pride to see our work cross borders and reach other places. Sangue Oculto was a creative and production challenge. I hope that Brazilian viewers will be enraptured by our story, which surprises them at every step of the way and right up to the very end.”

It should be remembered that THE SECRET has already traveled to other countries, namely Canada and Vietnam, thus joining many other fiction projects by SIC and SP Televisão that have already crossed the borders of more than 120 countries.
