The series THE MEDALISTS premieres on Prime Video in August

Starting August 1st, the first season of The Medalists, a production by SP Televisão for SIC's OPTO, will premiere on the Prime Video streaming platform.

The series tells the story of a high-performance center considered a true factory of champions, where a group of young athletes share the same goal: to become the best in the world in their sport, willing to make all the sacrifices to achieve their dream of winning a gold medal.

João Bettencourt, Joana Cravo, Paula Magalhães, and João Maneira are some of the main characters in this grand adventure. The cast also includes names like Mariana Cardoso, Ivo Lucas, Pedro Granger, Bruna Quintas, Jorge Corrula, Filipa Nascimento, Marco Mendonça, Raquel Sampaio, among others.

The first season consists of 26 episodes.
