Written by Sandra Santos and Alexandre Castro, and produced by SP Televisão, this is the story of an unexpected inheritance that gives a wronged woman the chance to change her life. At the centre of the story are Sofia (Patrícia Tavares), her daughter Beatriz (Bárbara Branco) and Gonçalo (José Mata), the man they both fall in love with, forming a love triangle. For his part, the villainous Vicente (Ricardo Pereira) wants to steal what she has just discovered she inherited from the father she never knew she had. As for Pilar (Mariana Monteiro), the newly discovered sister, who doesn't accept her and feels betrayed by her own father. And finally, Inês (Dânia Neto), the young mother who must leave her son to ensure his safety, in a story where ambition and power intersect, as well as a love affair.
Throughout the week, A HERANÇA won the favour of the Portuguese and thus a new phenomenon in national fiction was born, joining the soap operas Broken Promise and Lady of Tides.
