LADY OF TIDES finale wins the favour of the Portuguese

Since its premiere in February 2024, the telenovela starring Sofia Ribeiro and Afonso Pimentel has gripped audiences, who even chose the final ending for the characters Joana and Manuel. LADY OF TIDES came to an end on 18 April and the last episode topped the ratings with an average of around 618 thousand viewers, with a 6.4% rating and 18.8% share.

Written by João Lacerda Matos and Raquel Palermo, and produced by SP Televisão, the end of the telenovela LADY OF TIDES left no-one indifferent. After so many struggles, and by choice of the audience, Joana ends up in the arms of her beloved Manuel Bettencourt who, after all, didn't die after falling off the cliff from which Alex pushed him, and returns to form the longed-for happy family alongside the veterinarian and their children Júlia do Mar and Manuel.

Father Pinheiro (Albano Jerónimo) has already questioned his vocation, resigning from the priesthood to look after Joana and her children, but with Manuel's return that won't happen. One thing is certain, Filipe has always been a great example to all his faithful. Alex (Pedro Hossi), for his part, ends up in a wheelchair after being shot by Joana, paying for all the evil he did to her behind bars.
