TIMELESS LOVE goes to Georgia
The award-winning soap opera Flor Sem Tempo is travelling to Georgia, thus reinforcing the growing international success of SP Televisão's productions.
Scheduled to premiere this February, the soap opera will be broadcast on Georgia's public broadcaster, 1TV - Channel 1, in the afternoon. The expectation is that the gripping storyline will win over Georgian audiences, just as it did in Portugal.
Flor Sem Tempo, written by Inês Gomes and directed by Jorge Queiroga, tells the thrilling story of a forbidden love. The Torres family faces a complicated succession crisis, while Catarina, a young woman from humble beginnings, desperately seeks answers to her mother's sudden disappearance. This series of events crosses the paths of Catarina and Vasco, whose love story will be challenged in every possible way. Actress Bárbara Branco plays the struggling Catarina, actor Francisco Froes is Vasco and Maria João Bastos is Leonor, the grieving mother.
Flor Sem Tempo won the Gold Medal for Best Telenovela at the 25th edition of the World Media Festivals and is currently airing in Canada (OMNI Television) and will soon reach new markets, including Israel, joining the many other fiction projects SIC and SP Televisão have already crossed.
