A story of love and pain... Overnight, Eva is evicted, loses her job at a drug control agency and is left without a cent to her name by her husband Marco. As if that weren’t enough, she finds out that she's pregnant... With nothing to fall back on, she goes back to Salomé, her mother, with whom she cut ties ten years ago. There, she’ll have to share the house with her siblings Lucinha and Joel.

While she faces the ghosts of the past, Eva tries to track her husband down and is stunned by each new discovery. Marco was leading a double life after all, which included him being part of a network producing and trafficking performance enhancing drugs. Marco also had a mistress, Maria, a gym teacher. The truth is Maria herself was completely oblivious to Marco's illegal activity and the fact that he was married. He even had a three-month daughter with her named Alice and had just proposed. Like Eva, so does Maria is abruptly made aware of another side to the man she loves.

These two women, both deceived by the same man, will find themselves in tense situations with shocking revelations and unable to trust each other.
