Series THE MEDALISTS has its premiere date

The series THE MEDALISTS produced by SP Televisão and SIC already has a premiere date. On December 29th, it will premiere exclusively on SIC's streaming platform, OPTO.

The series tells the story of a high-performance center considered to be a veritable factory of champions, where a group of young athletes share the same goal: to become the best in the world in their sport. But in everything else they are different, including the sacrifices they are forced to make to achieve their dream of a gold medal.

However, a tragedy shakes the high-performance center and a possible murder is called into question in such a competitive environment.

João Bettencourt, Joana Cravo, Paula Magalhães and João Maneira are some of the names in the main plot of this great adventure. The cast also includes Mariana Cardoso, Ivo Lucas, Pedro Granger, Bruna Quintas, Jorge Corrula, Filipa Nascimento, Marco Mendonça, Raquel Sampaio, among others.
