Synopsis
LIVING PASSION
The will to live...
Miguel and Luísa loved each other since they were teens and were planning on getting married to fulfill their dreams together. However, everything changes dramatically when, during a vacation in South Africa, Luísa’s father dies. Zé, Miguel’s best friend and an ambitious man who’s also in love with Luísa, will hide from everyone that he was the one who actually killed her father and frame Miguel for it. Miguel will be sentenced to 10 years for murder and unable to come back to Porugal or to see the love of his life again.
After serving his time, upon returning to the Algarve, Miguel finds Luísa now married to his best friend and with a child, Catarina, who he later discovers to be his own daughter. Miguel then decides to stay and fight for Catarina and try to get back the 10 years that were stolen from him.
