Synopsis

AO LARGO

 

An unlikely love...

 

LEONOR and ANDRÉ’s paths cross when she, while on the run from her criminal boss whom she believes has turned her in to the police, decides to hide in André’s van travelling from Matosinhos to Lisbon.

André, who is a disaster running the small pottery business that he inherited from his parents, is now crippled with debt and on the verge of losing his four children, ISABEL, FRANCISCO, ALICE and TIAGO, whom he loves dearly.

The two will clash at first, but end up realizing that the best way for them to make it through is by helping each other. A love affair will blossom between this unlikely couple in a plot filled with deception in which we realize that even the most serious story is not without humour.

A true free spirit and a friendly, funny, easygoing man with a relaxed way about him that is disconcerting. It’s virtually impossible not to like André, which is why he keeps hopping from one relationship to the next. While he’s carefree and even irresponsible at times, André is a loving dad to children that adore him, André being more of a friend than a father figure. Leonor comes into his life as a lifeline of sorts.
